A Kingdom is the governing influence of a King over his territory , impacting it with his personal will purpose and intent , producing a culture, values, morals and lifestyle that reflect the King desires and nature for his citizens!

…or, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, ! A kingdom is a piece of land, a territory or realm ruled by a king or queen, often associated with a monarchy. In biology, it refers to a major category in the classification of living organisms, ranking above phylum and below domain!

It is very important to make sure we understand what the Holy Scriptures teach us and not be misled by the many images that everywhere depict castles in the clouds as a representation of the Kingdom of God.

The true location of the Kingdom of God is on the northern shores, in the third heaven. ... “For you have said in your heart {to} the heavens I will go up, above the stars of God I will raise my throne .And I will sit on the mount of meeting in the sides of the north.” ( Isaiah 14:13-15 The interlinear Hebrew/English Bible by Jay P. Green Sr.)

The Hebrew word for "heavens" is shamayim, it is in a plural form, meaning "heights," "elevations." It is found in the first verse of the Bible (Genesis 1:1; 2:1).

The Bible teaches that “ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth… While the explicit phrase “three heavens” isn’t used repeatedly, Scripture does describe different realms called “heaven.” The first heaven is the sky, our atmosphere.(Genesis 1:20), the second is outer space (Psalm 19:1), and the third is God’s spiritual dwelling (2 Corinthians 12:2).

Since time began, every generation has dreamed of a perfect world, and to achieve this, humanity has spared no expense, inventing religions, philosophical ideas, political ideas, social ideas, etc. The democratic ideal is the concept of freedom. Unfortunately, societies and communities that have experienced this freedom are still rife with racism, prejudice, injustice, corruption, abuse, etc.In the end, humanity has become a prisoner of its pursuit of freedom. The human failure of achieve control and mastery over his enviroment and circumstances has left man with a deep desire for a brand new world . This is the source and motivation of religious and spiritual development and practice.

In every religion we discover the component that promises power to control circumstances and even death. Millions are attracted to witchcraft and spiritism because the promise for power over people and circumstances. The human spirit is possessed by dominion, rules and control of the world. Currently, there is still no action that delivers what is necessary to obtain what humanity requires. In the mperative need of a prompt solution the word of God give us the information of a special kind of government called “Kingdom”, and 0f course, the person in charge of governing must be a person of impeccable conduct and spiritual holiness, in other words, a being who does not belong to the human race.

The holy scriptures (Bible) remind us of the words of the Creator: …And I will put enmity between you and the woman , and between your offspring and hers; he will crash your head , and you will strike his heel. (Gen 3:15 NIV) Jesus’ coming was prophesied in Eden. When Adam and Eve first heard the promise, they looked for its quick fulfillment. They happily welcomed their first-born son, hoping that he might be the Savior. But the fulfillment of the promise was delayed 4000 years. From the time of Enoch, the promise was re-given through patriarchs and prophets, yet the Messiah came not. From the time God pronounced this sentence until the voice of John the Baptist was heard in the desert of Judea..."Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near", 4000 years pass… But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, and a woman gave birth to him. (Galat. 4:4 NIV) Why did God wait so long in human history to send Jesus? A good question…

The Messiah come at the time predicted in Daniel’s prophecy, He came at the most favorable time in all history. The world was under one government (Rome) with a universal language (Greek). The world was at peace which made traveling from one place to another fairly safe. The Jews were able to go everywhere. And from all countries of the world, they also came to worship at the feasts of Jerusalem, and return to their homes with the news of the Messiah’s coming thus bearing their witness everywhere.

The Holy books were in the Greek language—the LXX—for about two hundred years. And the Scriptures were available to truth seekers. The pagan religions proved fruitless in bringing peace to men. People were unsatisfied with their religious dry doctrines and were looking for answers that could fulfill the desires of their hearts. Many non- Jewish people who had read these writings were looking forward to the coming Messiah. Heaven set this favorable time for taking the gospel message to the world from Jerusalem. God is perfect in wisdom and knowledge (Psalm 147:5), and all events in His great heavenly plan are to be fulfilled at His appointed time. So, what’s the answer to why Jesus didn’t come earlier? And the answer is this: because the time wasn’t full — whatever that means. Which pushes the question forward just a little bit — namely, what is the fullness of time? Why did there need to be a fullness of time? What made it full? Well, I think the we must make really clear that God governs times and seasons, also history. The times start when He said start.

The Aegean civilizations, Stone and Bronze Age that arose and flourished in the area of the Aegean Sea in the periods, respectively, about 7000–3000 BC and about 3000–1000 BC. The area consists of Crete, the Cyclades and some other Islnds, and the Greek mainland, including the Peloponnese, central Greece, and Thessaly. The first high civilization on European soil, with stately palaces, fine craftsmanship, and writing, developed on the island of Crete. In ancient Greek civilization, the period following Mycenaean civilization, which ended about 1200 BC, to the death of Alexander the Great, in 323 BC. It was a period of political, philosophical, artistic, and scientific achievements that formed a legacy with unparalleled influence. The larger historical period spanning from the output of ancient Greek author Homer in the 8th century to the decline of the Roman Empire in the 5th century is known as "Classical antiquity," encompassing Greco-Roman culture, playing a major role in the Mediterranean sphere of influence and in the creation of Western civilization, and shaping areas as diverse as law, architecture, art, language, poetry, rhetoric, politics, and philosophy. In the early period of Ancient Rome, before the establishment of the Republic in 509 BC, men would take power as kings. This was known as the period of the Seven Early Kings of Ancient Rome. The reign of the seven early kings lasted more than two hundred years. Even though it is historically thought that early Rome had seven kings, this cannot be certain as Romes records were destroyed in 390 BC.

The early kings of Ancient Rome possessed absolute power over Roman citizens. During this time in Ancient Rome, there was also the Senate. At its start, the Senate was simply a branch of government consisting of advisors, but had no power over citizens. The senate just carried out and administrated the wishes of the king. It was not until the establishment of the republic that the Senate would play a major role in Ancient Roman Government.

Taking a quick look at all of the above we can see a great similarity with the Kingdom system and it is also significant that when Jesus began to preach about the Kingdom of God those who listened to him could understand the good news, this being a good reason for the Messiah to come at this time

Analyzing what appears to be a difference, since While some believe that the Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are referring to different things, it is clear that both phrases are referring to the same thing.

The phrase “kingdom of God” occurs 68 times in 10 different New Testament books, while “kingdom of heaven” occurs only 32 times, and only in the Gospel of Matthew. Based on Matthew’s exclusive use of the phrase and the Jewish nature of his Gospel, some interpreters have concluded that Matthew was writing concerning the millennial kingdom while the other New Testament authors were referring to the universal kingdom. However, a closer study of the use of the phrase reveals that this interpretation is in error. For example, speaking to the rich young ruler, Christ uses “kingdom of heaven” and “kingdom of God” interchangeably. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven’” (Matthew 19:23). In the very next verse, Christ proclaims, “Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” (verse 24). Jesus makes no distinction between the two terms but seems to consider them synonymous.

Mark and Luke used “kingdom of God” where Matthew used “kingdom of heaven” frequently in parallel accounts of the same parable.

Compare Matthew 11:11-12 with Luke 7:28; Matthew 13:11with Mark 4:11 and Luke 8:10; Matthew 13:24 with Mark 4:26; Matthew 13:31 with Mark 4:30 and Luke 13:18; Matthew 13:33 with Luke 13:20; Matthew 18:3 with Mark 10:14 and Luke 18:16; and Matthew 22:2 with Luke 13:29. In each instance, Matthew used the phrase “kingdom of heaven” while Mark and/or Luke used “kingdom of God.”

Clearly, both phrases refer to the same thing.`
